In addition to his work in the cannabis and hemp space, Scott is also one of the owners and the founder of The Patterson Cozzo Law Firm –  a personal injury and mediation firm located in Marietta, Georgia.  Through his experience in the courts and as a lawyer with over 20 years of experience, he has cultivated numerous relationships with business and political consultants and advisors, which has proved invaluable in helping navigate the complex nature of cannabis and hemp legalization and licensing.

Prior to opening his own law firm, Scott worked as in-house counsel for an international technology company and began his legal career at King & Spalding, where he gained experience handling various contractual, licensing and litigation matters.  

Scott graduated Cum Laude from The Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia in 1999 and graduated from The College of William and Mary in 1993 with a double major in Government and Sociology.  

Scott grew up in Virginia working throughout middle and high school on agricultural, horse and cattle farms.
