Our Banana Flan falls heavily on the sativa end. This holds up, as its appearance is no slouch either. It’s marked by big, Fucking HUGE spear coals after harvest. There’s no doubt about it; it’s a heavy, fat yielder.
Its taste is like an overload of bananas and cream, with a hint of licorice for that gassy quality. It calls to mind sweet banana creme, amidst colors of super-dark purple and green. It’s a rainbow of delightful hues, and stands out as a favorite among sativa-dominant hybrids.
So how did our Banana Flan get to be so lovely? Look no further than its awesome parent genetics. First, we have Banana Pie. It’s a genius combination of Key Lime Pie, Banana OG, and OG Kush. Like its descendant, it’s heavy on the sativa and light on the indica.
Its yield is also robust, which is actually a common trend in the banana strain family. It even boasts buds with a yellowish-lime coat, a fitting precursor to its lineage. It’s virtually perfect as is, but as you know, we can’t let our genetics go by without at least one generous serving of gas. In this case, there’s two. Greaseball and Silly Putty are called upon to inject some chill in the mix.
